Welcome to this month’s edition of MADDvice! As we move further into the year, our commitment to financial education and inspiring our community continues to grow!
April was a standout month with our First Home Buyer Workshop on the 30th at Factory 51, where we welcomed over 89 attendees eager to learn about stepping into their first home. It’s rewarding to see so many aspiring homeowners take the first step toward their dreams.
We’ve also launched a series of financial literacy workshops at Brisbane State High School, aiming to equip Year 12 students with the knowledge they need to make sound financial decisions. This initiative is a proud moment for us, emphasising our investment in future generations. If you would like to find out more about this initiative and how it may benefit your school, please reach out to me.
As we approach the end of the financial year, it’s an important time to begin preparing for tax time. Talk to your accountant or your financial planner to work out what you might be able to do before EOFY. If you do not have a financial planner, reach out and book in a meeting with Madd Life and see if there are any ways that you could help your situation before the end of the financial year.
In other news, the RBA has held interest rates steady in their latest update. As we progress throughout the year, we will keep you informed on the RBA meetings and their outcomes and how this may impact your situation.
Let’s not forget, the vibrant Paniyiri Greek Festival is happening this weekend! As principal sponsors for the sixth year running, we are thrilled to be part of this celebration of Greek culture and community. Make sure to visit us at Madd Lane for some exciting activities and a chance to win a souvla!
Thank you for your continued engagement with MADDvice. Whether you’re navigating property purchases, planning for EOFY or joining us at community events, we are here to support and guide you through every step. Here’s to the month ahead with many more exciting developments to come!
